The Rus were a group of Swedish origin. They acted as traders in the Bulgar capital where Ibn Fadlan had been sent as an emessary.
Åmund is my name. I am the son of a successful Rus trader and follow in my father's stead. We own much land and are jarl.
Things for me were going well until she showed up in one of my holds after a voyage to the West. She was once my þræll, but I was tricked into relasing her. I have become embittered over the trick and will be claiming her once again.
