Dear, sweet, home! Kemet, ta-mery, fertile land, beloved of the gods: I have been dreaming of your river banks and temple gates for many months, and at last I see the great hawk rising in the East. I now return from my dark days in the West, and bring you offerings of gratitude for your eternal welcome.
Em hotep, traveler. You have reached the home of a humble servant, Bentreshy, who glorifies our lady Hathor, she of the magnificent tresses, and lord Khonsu, maker of men's destinies. If you are weary, rest yourself in the courtyard breezes. My library is open to all who visit, so dust off whatever scripts may strike your fancy. If you have come seeking counsel for your dreams, look for me in the Sanatorium at the temple at Iunet, and if you seek the dreams themselves, there are many beds available. If you should need me for any reason, I can often be found in my study, but if by chance I am not home, just pen a message for me and consider yourself welcome to whatever suits your desires. (You can also reach me by !) My home opens to you like the all-embracing arms of Nut. May you have health and life!

Please forgive the boldness of my two cats -- they will flaunt themselves in front of anyone who might be carrying treats. They're really quite loving behind that air of entitlement. Feel free to pet them, if you like.
Miw:

They are litter mates, brother and sister. Their mother gave birth to them in a gutter behind my study, and I discovered them mewling piteously one evening during a rain storm. The dark one, that's the boy. He can be quite imperious, and equally vocal when he doesn't get his way. Secretly, however, he is frightfully jumpy, and desperate for affection. The lighter, multi-colored female is very sweet-natured, and will patiently bathe her brother every time he interrupts her nap -- which, of course, is often.
