I am Tiglath
The Queen is not here.
Allow me to take you through
the Palace and tell
the story
of our beloved
Queen
Semiramis

Some have said the Queen was raised by doves in the desert,
born the daughter of the goddess Atargatis.
Her first husband was the governor
of Nineveh, Menones.
King Ninus of Babylon became captivated by her
and after her husband, Menones, conveniently committed suicide,
he married her.
That may have been the first
of his two biggest mistakes in judgment.
The second came when Semiramis, now Queen of Babylon,
convinced Ninus to make her "Regent for a Day."
He did so - and on that day,
she had him executed,
and she took the throne.

With her first husband - Menon,
The Queen
had two children,
twins..
Hyapate and Hydaspe
No one knows
what became of them

The Assyrians Worship of Semiramis Semiramis, Queen of Babylon Two Babylons The beauty of Semiramis is said on one occasion to have quelled a rising rebellion among her subjects on her sudden appearance among them; and it is recorded that the memory of the admiration excited in their minds by her appearance on that occasion was perpetuated by a statue erected in Babylon, representing her in the guise in which she had fascinated them so much.
