I am Livia Scipio widow of Quintus Scipio. He was recently killed while on campaign in the wilds of Germany. He was not the great love of my life but he was very kind and we got along well enough. Now that he is gone I have moved to Pompeii to start a new life. Quintus was also very generous, more generous than I could have ever imagined as he left me an outrageous amount of money to live upon. I'm not sure where or how he got it but it's mine to keep. I would like to marry again someday but this time it will be for love. In the meantime I am looking forward to meeting the eligible bachelors of Pompeii.
