22 January, 2008 - Good Bye Heath Ledger. You were far too young to leave. God Bless You
Welcome to Palazzo d'Oro
I was born Giacomo Girolamo Casanova in Venice in the year of our Lord 1725 in a house on the Calle della Commedia, near the Teatro San Samuele. My parents Gaetano Guiseppe Casanova and Zanetta Farussi were employed at the teatro. Among the first untruths I would tell would be I was born Né amori né donne, my true father being the Venetian nobleman, Michele Grimani, whose family owned the Teatro San Samuele. Due to my parents being absent or frequently on tour or abroad I was raised almost entirely by my maternal grandmother, Marzia Farussi.
At the age of 9 I was sent to study in Padova with Il Dottore Gozzi. It was there I learned my first lessons about women with the younger sister of Il Dottore, la donna giovane, Bettina.
As you
wander through my house you will discover places that serve as my homebase for certain activities. In the Courtyard I conduct my social activities here at AncientWorlds and in Venice. My Library is for my historical and academic pursuits.
Finally, in my Study you will find my game playing scores, statistics and artifacts.
Thanks for visiting my home!
