This Kemetan nebet hails from Greco-Roman times (if I have my terminology correct) - a time when cultural influences from other civilisations were having considerable impact on things AEgyptian. The pic on the upper RHS is a perfect example of this. The deceased is wearing Roman gear and Anubis's posture and depiction is hardly standard issue. The relaxed stance of the deceased is curious to say the least ;) Interesting stuff...
The place is still an aesthetic mess...but slowly improving. Now if I could just decide what to put here...
