I was once a lady of some importance - perhaps I was the first queen of a united Egypt to ever have come down through history. My husband was Narmer who it is believed united the Two Lands. You will see my name spelled in various ways: NeithHotep, N-th-t-p, Nithetep, Nit-htpw - all of them tell you that Great Goddess Nit was the aim of my devotions.

My tomb, originally thought to belong to the mythical Menes *snicker*, but later acknowledged as belonging to the mother of Aha, that is - me, was found at Naqada. Some people still wander around wondering if Iīm from the marshy areas of Lower Egypt and married Narmer for political reasons... Well Iīll keep them wondering for a while yet. The supplies Hor-Aha made for my Afterlife made me content though.
Here on Ancientworlds I have taken up residence in the neighbourhood of Abedjou to be near kin and friends of my time.
