Bon jour! Please permit our troupe of wand'ring gypsies to entertain you. Columbine and Pantaloon, a wistful Pierrot 'neath the moon, fortune-tellers, magicians and the darkest creatures of Night! Prof. Henbane's Midnight Carnival has arrived!
I be Mad Malachus - roustabout, clown, acrobat and singer of amusing songs. I'm also Prof. Henbane's dogsbody. For half a crown you can feast your eyes on the most astonishing and unnatural wonders of this world and beyond - preternatural freaks, the living dead, doppelgangers and fetches, exotic elixirs, shrunken heads, reptilian maneaters, eight-legged monsters, and miracles beyond your wildest dreams!
We're an unorthodox bunch of motley misfits, each of us with his own story to tell. But in spite of our tragic and often nefarious pasts, we have come together as a sort of family. We are humble gypsies, selling our nostrums and entertaining to even the most discriminating tastes. We specialise in oddities, freaks, shadowy beasts, unthinkable feats, and all things wickedly or unnaturally peculiar.
