I, Servilia, am a patrician, daughter of Quintus Servilius Caepio and the unfaithful Livia Drusa. By my mother, I am sister of Marcus Porcius Cato, the Younger.
I was brought up in the house of the tribune Marcus Livius Drusus, my maternal uncle, after my parents' scandalous divorce. I was to married Marcus Junius Brutus, a relative nobody in the political scene. From this marriage, I bore one son: Marcus Junius Brutus, one of Caesar's assassins.
I later married Decimus Junius Silanus, the consul of 62 BC, and bore three daughters named Junia. Junia Secunda married Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, the future triumvir of the Second Triumvirate. Junia Tertia, the youngest daughter, married Gaius Cassius, another prominent assassin of Caesar.
I will tell you more of my life as we stroll through my seaside villa.
