Salve and welcome to my domus!
First of all, yes, yes, my physical appearance is most unnatural. You're not the first one to notice, you shall not be the last. But enough about me! Now, please feel free to wander through my estate and let yourself be caressed by the lovely sea breeze of Hispania...try not to mind the servants, this place is a bit chaotic. Alas, a victim of my redecorating rage. As you'll see my domus is not Roman in decor since I love different cultures and am pretty much eclectic. In other words, I stick here what I believe to be nice enough. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay and that you find my home somewhat decent at least.
You're welcome to visit the gardens and read some of my favorite quotes while listening to some oriental music... or go to the library, read a couple of poems and take a look at other quiz links than the ones I have here. Anyhow, nevermind my fancies dear friend. Allow the servants to serve you some cool wine and fruit, and if it is your desire, leave a message if I am not home.
This is my pet Polaris, be wary, he is fond of biting.
you can also send an e-mail with him.

My newest adoptions, two adorable little critters, although one of them likes to dwell among the shadows...he reminds me of someone...
My draggies!

From The Two Towers
second part of The Lord of the Rings
Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain in the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

The Erinyes
Daughters of Gaia and Uranus and sometimes referred to as the "myst-walking" these divinities are the same as the Roman Furies. They are either three divinities or only one manifested in three forms: Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone. The Erinyes harass and punish those who offend the gods (be it by Hybris or any other action)but never kill them. Like Nemesis, the goddess of retribution, the Erinyes are caracterizations of primitive forces and thus, are much older than the younger generation of Olympian gods.
