Sit. Rest awhile. There is no hurry. The servants are anns a'chidsin, in the kitchen, and will be out to serve you promptly. They are foreignors and their Gaelic is shameful. It's so hard to get good help these days. Our mead is spectacular and we make our own cheese. Which ever kind you like, just ask and your preferance will be granted. I have been working with Alma the midwife for the past month. We are having a great many bairns coming this time of year. A bit unususal. I will be visiting one of our family's locations you can see off to the side, but make yourself commfortable in my absense.

GRIEF
Grief strikes hard sometimes
with no warning
the normal seems difficult
the sun not noticeable
the sound of people
seems off in the distance
though they chatter
right beside you
Grief is a tunnel
you have already entered
dark colors permeate you
your heart and mind
not comprehending
not thinking
just feeling grief
We walk alone in grief
what to do we wonder
with that empty spot
that seems to ache
all the time
since grief the thief
took our sunshine
Have you Ever
Have you ever wondered
where the rainbow leads
or why there are
miracles for some
but not all
yet you still listen
for the call
You isolate in your corner
but answers rarely come
Though you listen listen listen
as if you may hear some
And you finally realize
your wasting precious time
you could be out there helping
those of your own kind
I looked down in sadness
at the first sign of the end
their beauty on the flower
loose and falling with
the wind
those colorful spring flowers
the petals falling all at once
had me wondering if springtime
should'nt last for more
than just a couple of months
so I scooped up the all the
petals and brought them home
to float in my special
dish, and smelled the heavenly
beauty to make the most of it.
A day or so later I
looked up to another sight
the trees leaves were unfurling
to greet summer now approaching
and shading what was bright
