I thank the god of happy endings, Bonus Eventus, our ship arrived safely after so long a trip from Britannia. My wife and children seem so far away in Calleva, but the family business demands my personal attention. Our cargo has been safely off-loaded at our emporium at the Portus of Rome and I have returned to the domus we maintain in Rome.

Our family wealth is based on importing wine and luxury goods from the far corners of the Empire. I am a negotiator Britannicianus. But my real passion has always been politics and serving the people of Calleva Atrebatum as a Decurione and now Curialis. It is my great honor to see to the public works, buildings and administration of our community...helping Calleva become a true polis, worthy of the name.
