Reconstruction in progress!!
Suaimhneach Baile is very roughly translated to Home Serene. I always felt comfortable in Inver Colpa when I was involved with the roll play. It seemed like the most natural place to rest my head.
If anyone wanders into my homestead because they feel some of the facts I've found may be inaccurate, please feel free to have a beverage and a seat by the fire. There is only so much research a body can do, and I'm always open to corrections and/or new sources of information.
He's so cute! I had to pick him up!
I visited the Temple of Artemis
Stolen, er borrowed from a book review;
I am the wind which breathes on the water.
I am the swell of the sea.
I am the light of the sun.
I am the point of the battle spear.
I am the God who gives fires to the mind.
Who announces the ages of the moon?
Who speaks to the setting of the sun?
I, only I.
(Thank you, Juliene Osborne-McKnight)
Aine Ui Cruithni is my alternate persona in Inver Colpa so I could follow my sept there for the winter.

The Hosting of the Sidhe
W B Yeats
The host is riding from Knocknarea
And over the grave of Clooth-na-Bare;
Caoilte tossing his burning hair,
And Niamh calling Away, come away:
Empty your heart of its mortal dream.
The winds awaken, the leaves whirl round,
Our cheeks are pale, our hair is unbound,
Our breasts are heaving, our eyes are agleam,
Our arms are waving, our lips are apart;
And if any gaze on our rushing band,
We come between him and the deed of his hand,
We come between him and the hope of his heart.
The host is rushing 'twixt night and day,
And where is there hope or deed as fair?
Caoilte tossing his burning hair,
And Niamh calling Away, come away.
