As you can see I would be at home just as well in "Germania" but a true viking often finds themselves on the edge of the known world and not just Scandinavia. Orkneys, Man, Iceland, Faroe isles and the Hebrides are our island homes. A wonderful blend of Celtic and Norse kultur and traditions. Drop in and exchange ideas or chat. Come raiding with our crew, plunder a church, capture some slaves, trade, bargain, muscle the axe and sharpen your wits! A group for the discussion of all aspects of the culture of the Vikings - their wars, voyages, art, literature, language and legacy.
Hugrunar means 'Thought Runes' and encompasses discussion of the Viking Age from the Fifth to the Eleventh Centuries.
