Salve! Welcome to my Domus. While we wait for the slave girl to bring us some wine tell me, is it me you've come to see or is it business with my husband? He is a banker here in the city and has a busy schedule so it is rare to find him at home during the day. He does like to dabble as an amateur historian in his spare time though, so perhaps you have some scrolls for him? His busy schedule and interests leave me free to oversee the running of our home and enjoy the round of social activities here in Rome. From time to time you may also find us entertaining guests at our villa out in the Sabine countryside only one days' journey from Rome. ~ Aemilia Felicia Augustus
