Welcome to the villa of Valeria Augusti. Make yourself at home, I'll bring you some nice lemon water and whatever else you need.

Salve, citizens, welcome to my domus!

I apologise for my home being so bare at the moment but I only just moved here and still settling in. After a while though, I hope to try and fill up. My husband Fabius and I are trying to get ready to host the Saturnalia party since father can't do it. And with my baby on the way, it's very hecktic!

My name is Valeria Lucilla Augusti but most of my family just call me Valeria. I am the daughter of Valerius Augusti the Younger, whose father was the elder of the same name. Our family go back to the original servents/slaves of the Augusti, or so the story goes. As a result of this, my family and I are devoted to the memory of Augustus, but more imporantly to the memory of his daughter, Julia Augusti.

My husband's name is Fabius Antonius and we have been married for many months now. I am almost due with my baby that the soothsayers swear will be a boy--I can only hope.

Yes I do listen to Pullo Talk, why I don't rightly know, but he was quite a smooth talker... I have to say I enjoy listening to him very much, Fabius is even slightly jealous.

Look out for season two of Rome HBO. This season they say will follow the deathly five years following the death of Gaius Julius Caesar, the grandfather of our beloved Julia Augusti. It's hard not to hate that wonderful Max Pirkis, even if he is playing Augustus who banished Rome's beloved princess.
