Ganymedes's Journals

I am Ganymedes, son of King Tros of Dardania. Kidnapped by Zeus from Mount Ida in Phrygia, I now serve as cupbearer to the gods and as Zeus' beloved.

Being abducted by lecherous Gods is the price one pays for being uncommonly beautiful, I suppose. But at least submission is rewarded with immortality and exemption from aging, and my father didn't complain either since he got a pair of divine horses by way of compensation for my loss.

May I offer you some of this ambrosia?
