    Choose three different adventures, through the eyes of three different characters. Will you beat Nergal, or shall he claim your soul?

    Baġdād, Iraq 1921

    You see coming toward you a balding man of short stature. He is dressed in desert khakis and under his arm is tucked a hat only an archaeologist would wear. The man can be no other than Dr. Moony, Professor of Natural History and Anthropology. As he walks toward you, he looks around the Great Hall of The Desert Blossom Hotel in awe. You can see he is taking mental notes and putting all he sees in its proper place in history.

    You shrug mentally. You know the history of this palace as you’ve visited here many times before. The locals know and respect you for what you do. Regardless of the local superstitions, you are now the one to show this British archaeologist around the area. He seems to think there is a long-lost tomb of Nergal somewhere, 30 miles to the South-West.

    Finally, Dr. Moony comes to stand before you. You replace the contemplative scowl with, what you hope is, a friendly smile. “Dr. Moony, I am to be your guide. I am the-”

    ~ Ancient Mythology Expert you hired. (Hence known as "Spiritual Advisor".)
    ~ Interpreter you've hired. (Hence known as "Diplomat".)
    ~ Gun for Hire. (Hence known as "Warrior".)


    NOTE: Warriors: You choose your own destiny be it good or evil. Spiritual Advisors: You are on the side of good. Diplomats: You are on the side of evil. Also, the Spiritual Advisor level is Easy, Diplomat is Intermediate and the Warrior level is Difficult.

    This is an alternative-history adventure. The events and places in these articles are from the imagination of the authors. There are factual references to Mesopotamian Mythology, however. Any resemblence to places or people of today are pure happenstance.
