Welcome to our Masquerade!

We hope that you join us in full costume and dance the night away. As usual our royal roleplay will take place here.

Last year there were visitors from far away lands and even an attempt to murder a member of court. Poor lad, he is still trying to find out who poisoned his drink.

This year rumour has it that a horde of Huns will be visiting, not to conquer new lands of course, but to visit as secret guests of the Queen. You see, Hareth and Ildico Hun are both friends of Queen Desdemona and will bring their families for the festivities. Of course, that also means that a certain King of the Huns will be present, which will cause a stir in court, no doubt. I'm sure that Attila hopes to not be beaten by a woman in the Hand To Hand Combat this year! For the safety of the horses, that is.

A little tension will be expected in court however as this will be the first time that Hareth and Ildico meet. Althought both are members of the same family, Hareth could not attend Ildico's wedding and has only heard of her from her uncle Bleda.

The good Queen Audofleda will also be joining us again. Perhaps finally we can resolve the problem between her and her husband.

This year, we hope that you will all like to join us in the fun, intrigue, drama and murder. Surely there will be at least one! So, prepare your best customs, find your most beautiful mask and dress to kill! For tonight, we dance!
