Kenji wants a wife!!?

So you've heard the rumours that Kenji-san is looking for a wife and thought you'd try your luck, eh? Be warned: this contest is not for the faint of heart. Our esteemed Khantina proprietor may be looking for that "special someone" to share his life with, but he drives a pretty hard bargain. You'll have to be bold enough to tell him what makes you so special.

Rules of Engagement:

1. Sign up on the contest page.

2. Write something clever and convincing about your attributes and talents. This is a battle of wits, ladies, so sharpen those calligraphy brushes (and nails), bat those long silky lashes, wiggle those hips, stretch that imagination and start cooking up a storm. Just don't mess up Kenji's kitchen!

3. Bragging, bantering and strutting your stuff are all perfectly acceptable just so long as you don't actually break the Code of Conduct...or the object of your affection.

4. Post as many propositions as your muse inspires you to write, but please include "Dear Kenji" in the titles of official contest entries.

5. Don't forget to include in each entry a description of the method you use to successfully send your "impassioned pleas" to Kenji. Otherwise, if you forget to send it, or if it fails to arrive, how will he know if you're the one for him?

Write a story, a letter, a poem, whatever suits your style...

Autobiography of a Samurai

I was born in Shimotsuke Province 27 years ago to a wealthy and powerful Ashikaga/Minamoto clan, who sent me to Shikoku to learn the Way of the Samurai.

After my training, I was assigned a lord and protected the shogunate for three years, until called to go undercover. I took a job as bartender at the Kublai Khantina and eventually bought the place.

I have 3 subordinates who maintain peace and order for the Green Dragon Shogunate by going on dangerous missions assigned by me from the Khantina.

I am also versed in history and the martial arts and can speak 7 languages semi-fluently. I'm an excellent cook...and yes, I am looking for a wife.
