The Moon of June is called the green corn moon

In June we celebrate The Green Corn Moon when the green shoots are growing from the seeds planted last month in The Planting Moon . It is alao called by TheTtsalagi, The Strawberry Moon, as the young wild strawberries are first ripening. We have started a new tradition here in Kituwah Territory and shall be sending baskets of fresh wild strawberries to all of our friends.
