It's Goldfest time again and AW is on the warpath! If you are of mercenary blood, then you are born to enter the War of the Ancient Worlds Hood Home Tour.

This year, we will be celebrating Goldfest from October 25 to 29. The theme is "War" ~ a very broad topic that leaves much to the imagination. The sky's the limit on what you can do with your properties for this year's tour.

All are invited to participate by entering your hood homes, taking the tour, or both. You don't have to be a Celt to enter your Celtia hood homes. Enlist today!

Criteria for the Goldfest 2010 hood home tour:

1. Post the links to the properties you are entering in the tour on the GF planning threads of the worlds in which they are located. There is still time to create a new hood home, or finish a neglected one. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to leave a scroll for Xena or Fedelm.

The AW Scribes will keep track of property URLs and set up their world's leg of the tour. The deadline to submit a neighbourhood property to the Goldfest 2010 hood home tour has been extended to October 24.

2. Everyone who submits a property is encouraged to be active and respond to posts made within their property. It is not necessary for participants to be online during all of Goldfest, but it is recommended they log in at some time.

3. Property owners should have at least one activity for visitors, i.e.: a guest book to sign, a game, a puzzle, music, gifts for visitors, a quiz, a general discussion, etc. with a "war" or military theme.

4. Property owners may display one of the two banners below ~ one reading 'Entrant' or one reading 'Non-entrant' ~ as a visual aid for the Goldfest 2010 Hood Home Challenge judges. You do not have to enter the challenge to be part of the tour.

5. Those who wish to enter properties in the Goldfest 2010 Hood Home Challenge can find the sign up page and competition rules HERE!

6. There is no limit to the number of properties each world may include in the tour, provide each home complies with the 2010 guidelines and the AncientWorlds Code of Contuct.

Members who wish to feature a property in a world different to their own should submit the link to the appropriate planning thread. For instance, if you have an Egyptian persona with a hood home in Celtia, post the link on Celtia's planning thread.

7. All members of War of the Ancient Worlds Hood Home Tour are encouraged to solicit via scrolls, grams or on the global Goldfest thread for people to visit their properties, starting on October 25.
Celtia's leg of the hood home tour will be part of the Samhain hood home tour and will start on October 30. The deadline to submit a property to the Samhain hood home tour has also been extended to October 24. Please contact one of Celtia's scribes if you miss the deadline.

8. Please leave a message on the properties you visit: make an observation, join a discussion, or simply say hello.
