t is summer of 264 AD, near the end of the illustrious reign of Cormac mac Airt, one of the first "High Kings" of Tara. St. Patrick won't arrive in Ireland for almost two hundred more years. Another raiding season has begun in earnest, after a harsh and hungry winter.
On Beltaine, the search party that had set out from Inver Colpa last Samhain came back exhausted and empty handed from a journey halfway across the Isle. Fiachra, sole heir to the sovereignty of the Niafer tuath, remains in the clutches of the outlaws who kidnapped him.
After leading the Niafers on a merry chase southward through the bogs of Cill Dara and then all the way westward to Cashel. The outlaws of Magh Croimor joined forces with the tuath of their leader's cousin and took up residence at an abandoned dun in Temhair Luachra, where treachery and intrigue continues to thrive among them.

t the beginning of the new raiding season, nothing is assured. Will the outlaw tribe accept Nion as their high chieftain, or will he meet an end at the hands of Huath's son? Will Amlaidh and Baine succeed in their plan to keep Fiachra safe as a fosterling at Dún Dair? Will Winter Mist and Sean live happily ever after?
Has Nevvyn given up hope of ever seeing his grandson again? Will Fenian recover from his chronic melancholy and take up his sword, spear and shield to restore Inver Colpa to its former battle prowess? Is there life after the Winter of Woes? And what was that weird goblin doing lurking about, anyway?

Choose your allies - the good, the bad or simply the ugly - and join us for another Summer of brawling, bragging, raiding and ravaging through the 'hoods of Celtia!
