"This can't be", Headmistress McGonagall said worriedly. "This movie is based on a book in our restricted section. " Whilst pausing the DVD to discuss some history with Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, Arthur Weasley discovered the liner- notes of Excalibur alluded to "Le Morte d'Arthur" being a classic novel anyone could read. "If a restricted book is being read by muggles..." McGonagall suddenly stopped when she noticed how everyone looked seriously appalled.
"If people think it's a novel, all well and good; there's nothing to worry about," said Moody, who was busy draining a frothy mug of ale at the Hog's Head as his dinner arrived. "Besides, it's not likely Merlin is still around."
"What if he is, Alastor?" McGonagall asked. "We all know that Sir Thomas Malory was Merlin, and look at this." She opened a London Times across Moody's plate. 'Actor in New Production of Camelot Claims Merlin as Ancestor' in bold letters on the third page of the paper.
Moody slowly lowered his fork, looked over the article, then noticed something, laughing. "The paper is dated 1st of April. Muggles have a holiday honoring creative lying on that day. The article is obviously a joke."
"I checked with the theatre," Arthur Weasley said, who up to now had been listening silently at an adjacent table. "There is indeed a man who claims this, and the newspaper picture is the same as Malory. But that's not what you should be noticing. See what he has hanging from his neck, and who's standing behind him claimed by the paper as his personal aide?"
Moody and McGonagall squinted, their look of shock sudden. A golden time-turner was plainly visible, with Peter Pettigrew looking on.
