Cuneiform is thought to be the first form of written language. With writing, came schools, another first for Sumer.
The Sumerians have long been thought to be the pioneers of many aspects in Mesopotamian, as well as world, society. The creation of written language and the first schools were but two of many things the Sumerians began. Under this topic, we'll explore the schools, the students and cuneiform.
