Join the fun and merriment at the Cean Tir Ceilidh.

A Ceilidh is a special combination of food and drink, music and dance. Lughnasadh is the time of the harvest. When the work is done, the folk gather round the bonfire. The finest fruits of the field and forest are laid out for the eating. The first of the autumn ale is just at the right stage for drinking. A bodhran, pipes, a whistle or two and maybe a harp, all provide the music, and there is Dancing at Lughnasadh!

As Gartan, Chieftain of the Cean Tir Picts, I welcome you all to our Ceilidh. Forget for a while, your troubles and cares. Raise a cup in honor of the great God Lugh. Celebrate the bounty of his harvest. Lift your voices in song and let your feet raise a cloud of dust in dancing. Enjoy the fruits of your labors!
