Defeat an enemy with a spurt of speed, shatter swords with your cry, use your shield as a weapon, move with a cat's grace, strike only felling blows, be master of the chariot, stand on spearpoint and fight along a tightrope.

Only under Scathach's tutelage will you master these otherworldly feats, and others. Scathach, The Shadowy One, is the teacher of many great Gaelic warriors, including the legendary Cuchulainn. While warrior clan societies teach the basic athletic skills of warfare, Scathach integrates combat skills with druidic insight to impart on her students the arts of Cleas - wondrous feats.

Scathach's first challenge will be posted on April 30th. At that time, participants are invited to start posting their responses in roleplay format. The second challenge will come on May 1st and the final challenge on May 2nd. The manner in which the participant meets and fares against each challenge is up to the individual. Be creative!

If additional time is needed to allow participants more time to post, the challenge will be extended for another day or two.
