IMBOLC 2005 - Bardic Poetry Competition
Brighid is the patron goddess of poets, so it is appropriate at Imbolc to honor Her with the best of your Bardic Art.
Running from January 31 - February 2, this poetry competition is open to all members of Ancient Worlds. The contest involves composing a Conachlonn on the theme of Winter. Click on the link to read about this form and view some examples from the thread at Bardic College, then make up your own! The Conachlonn is one of the easiest and most fun of all ancient Bardic forms so don't be afraid to try it. You might win a prize!
