What follows on this thread is a collection of posts from the story line of Clan Niall as it first appeared at Ancient Sites during 2000/2001. This story line deals with the return of the line of Cearbhall. Credit is given to each of the writers who contributed. Some posts have been removed at the request of the writer. In those places where posts have been removed, a brief summary in italics appears.

For eight long years Saoirse, proud daughter of Coipre, had suffered the marital prison her father had negotiated for her. But Muireadach's holding were great and their only child, Donnchadha, now stood in the line of succession to both the throne of Connacht and Ulster. Her husband now dead and no longer a concern, Saoirse returns to the land of her birth with her young son. But what she finds on her return threatens to split the clan for ever and always.
