In the Triads of Ireland, reticence, virtue and industry seem to be the qualities most desired in a woman. Triad 180 actually lists 'a steady tongue, a steady virtue and a steady housewifery' among the most desirable qualities to be found in a woman. Here, we will discuss Celtic Law as it applies to issues that most affected women.
