Welcome to An Caidreamh Suiri. The "Love Affair" Tavern and Inn is a second home to the Clan MacRoth and friendly travelers alike!
Whether you are looking to cure your heartache with a pint, a poem or a pointy knife...odds are good you will find it at the Old MacRoth place.An Caidreamh Suiri is located just off the River Shannon below Lough Derg.
The pub is well known for its warm welcome and hospitality, not to mention the house specialties of bilberry wine, sweet meadow tea, and honeyed ale. A lively time and good friends are always in store for the patrons of the Caidreamh Suiri.
One of several pubs that the brewer runs throughout the Ancient Celtic World. Her hospitality can also be enjoyed at the Clan Cumhaill's Elphin Inn,The Sicko's Saloon at AW Anonymous, and the infamous Kissing Booth of local feis.
"The Love Affair" was established by her father, Ciaran MacRoth and his wife, Ruari Niall. The inn had been maintained by her eldest brother QuickSilver until the time of his marriage... Now it's been left in Kate's capable hands.
This inn is role-play based and uses very loosely based ancient personas. It is made fer social aspects of learning and enjoying the fellowship of scholars, drunks and non-drinkers alike! Please do na seek 100% historical accuracy here, ye may na find it!
