For discussing character designs and interactions with other characters.
If you want to start a character, get the suggestions of as many of those with whom you intend to interact as possible. If you want to play the role of another character's 'significant other', obviously you will need to find out from them what kind of character they want. But the same holds for the kind of neighbor they want and the kind of king they want.
For the same reasons, if somebody requests that your character does or says something to help them make a good post, try to accomodate them. People don't like to be ignored in RP, so if somebody posts that they saw your character or were in your presence, try to mention seeing them in your next post.
