Dancing is more than choreographed steps across a stage or ballroom. It is inner movement, the kind which inspires us to dream, to reach out, to extend our hearts and souls. Dancing is a sort of divine magic which comes from within, which grows from the seeds of our existence.

Someone who doesn’t dance is far more likely to be a selfish, greedy lover who limits the amount of pleasure both coming in and going out. They will have lists of what is too much, never of what is not enough. They will have limits on love, on friendship, on partnerships. They will probably also lack understanding and compassion because they have never tasted the sweetness of Buddha’s breath on the wind. To dance is to make love with the universe, to give and receive from it purely and cleanly.
