Suetonius provides some of the most undying and scandalous legends about the earlier Emperors.

The historian who gave Roman history a racy name, C. Suetonius Tranquillus, a/k/a Suetonius,(c. 69 AD - 122 AD)worked in the Imperial service and had access to records that have caused historians to argue every since. He loved gossip as well as history and portrayed the Emperors with many of their most notorious vices.
