Welcome to Studi-O Fifty-Four BCE's Ghoulish Gold Fest: Mummy Madness '06! Here, in our state-of-the art recording studio, you may pit your talents against those of your fellow ancients. Will you compose the next Kemetian chart topper and win the very first Golden Mummy Award? Come, try your luck!

Please be careful as you descend the ancient tomb steps, journeying ever deeper into the the Underworld. Why did we put the recording studio all the way down here? Acoustics of course. Well.. that and to contain the background musicians, the "Mango Mummies". See those orange dancing dudes? Yep.. that's them. Sometimes they get out of hand. They sort of like to, ummm, recombobulate at this time of year. Don't worry though.. they don't bite. Not usually, anyway.

To challenge your fellow ancients, just chose a tune and once the page loads, fill in the blanks. Then, click the Record My Tune button. Your completed song will then magically display before your very eyes! To release your hit to all of AncientWorlds, copy the contents of the pop-up box (edit-select all-copy) , and paste it (edit-paste) into your posts. Make sure you entitle your post with the name of your composition. You may record as many songs as you like. The more you compose, the better your chances are of winning!

To give everyone recording time, the Studi-O opens for business at 0:15 hours AW time on October 22. That would be fifteen minutes after midnight, Eastern Standard Time. Record at your leisure, throughout the day. Hey, there are no neighbors down here to complain about the noise... err... music.

The Studio will close all recording sessions at 18:00 hours AW time ( 6 PM, EST) on October 22. At that time, our anonymous judges will recess to decide who will be the winner of AncientWorlds very first Golden Mummy.

Next, don your best evening "wrap"... for as Re sets, on the evening of October 22, at 19:00 hours AW Time (7 PM EST) A&O Studios will host a black shroud affair, ~* The Mummys *~ Awards Show and Grande Gala . This catered event will feature a divine dinner menu of choice ancient morsels and fabulously freakish cocktails. Dance the night away to the music of Chart-Toppers past. Hob knob with your fellow fur balls. Kick up your heels, your paws, your... humps, for all are welcome.

And there, at The Awards Show, the winner of AW's first Golden Mummy will be announced. Everyone will win something, so no matter who or what you are, come down to our tomb and party. It's time to see and be seen.
