Lugos: The White God Historical Thread

Lugos was known as the God of light, and was probably the Gallic Mercury Caesar referred to in his list of Celtic Deities.

Lugos was known as the God of Light, and was thought to be the Pater God of them all. Although Lugos was thought of as the highest god of them all, he was a latecomer in Celtic mythology. Here we will study the images of Lugos and how teh Celtic people regarded him. We will also discuss the Roman perception of this God.
