 The Muse: A Place for Poets

What does poetry do? Why should we bards of the modern age care? Good questions, one might say, yet why do we, those few, brave the wrath of misunderstanding to put down what moves us? I cannot speak for others, but for me, it is life's own breath, a need so powerful that if I refuse to follow it, would be like death itself. Here at The Muse, please post your poems filled with power and dreams.
(A note: this is not Poetry Tag, this place is for serious poetry, or more to the point, for poets who wish to post their innermost thoughts on their dreams, wishs, wants and desires. Please if looking for just fun, the Poetry Tag is the place to go. At least until the Boards appear!)
