Dr. Mary Beard of Cambridge University is a world-class scholar on the history of ancient Rome. She will join us at AncientWorlds January 17-23, 2010.
Professor Mary Beard will guest with AW from January 17-23, 2010 to discuss Roman history and to celebrate her contributions to both the field and the popularity of classical history. Dr. Beard writes a blog with the London Times ("A Don's Life") where she can comment on anything that strikes her astringent eye, classically speaking. Her books are best-sellers and her popularity makes ancient Rome very much an "in" subject in 2010.
Come visit Professor Beard at her domus or jump in now with your questions and comments - anything on ancient Rome (or ancient anything) is fair game!
