New City Pages Released! General Thread 0 Featured March 5 , 2003

If you have not already done so, please check out the new city pages [ Rome , Athens , Egypt , Babylon , Celtia , Germania , and MachuPicchu ]. The city pages have been ported to the new site system (along with the bulletin boards). Hopefully the new city pages will show a speed improvement, based on the new system that started rolling out with the boards, as well as feature more items that summarize what is going on in each city.

The new city pages have new features, such as dislaying the city scribes, the Best Homes list, the Richest Members and the newest Members.

The center column of each city page now features a "news blog," a rolling list of news stories that is maintained by the city's Scribes. Soon Patrons will be able to submit stories for editorial approval. More will be posted about how the news log will function.

The right-hand column shows the city's public boards and several topics under each, as well as an expanded group list section that displays more groups by organizing them into 3 "tabbed" categories.

Still to be added to the city page is a search box and listings for upcoming features such as Real-time Trivia winners, Online Books, and Articles.

The Group pages are the next to get refurbishing. They will hopefully be done by the end of the week.
