Many times when we wake after dreaming, the promise of some deeper meaning lingers in our mouths. We keep our eyes held shut, struggle to make solid what is only smoke, yet the greater significance of what we have seen is fleeting, and it dissipates with every breath.

I cannot claim to know all there is to know about dreams. I can boast no formal training, and, as the Eloquent Peasant said:

What I can offer, however, is modest experience, unembellished intuition, and an earnest interest in the way our dreams communicate -- how they can, and often do, provide a momentary glimpse at a higher truth.
