Hugrunar - The World of the Vikings
A group for the discussion of all aspects of the culture of the Vikings - their wars, voyages, art, literature, language and legacy.
Hugrunar means 'Thought Runes' and encompasses discussion of the Viking Age from the Fifth to the Eleventh Centuries.

Hugrunar is back!
Since it was such a popular group at AS and since the Vikings are probably amongst the best known of the ancient Germanic peoples, I thought it appropriate that Hugrunar be the first Germanic group to be established.
The universal appeal of the Vikings also means that an active Hugrunar could be a good group to attract "settlers" to Germania after the Gold Launch. So all we need now is some members and some discussions.
