The Lady Feiyan suggested that I post my latest article here, on the great 19th century Edo artist, Hiroshige. I am working on a companion article for his famous rival, Hokusai (remember that famous image of a wave breaking?) The Edo School was quite amazing and their art now has the fascinating poignancy of a pre-Industrial, pre-world-power, Japan.

    The Gallery of Hiroshige

Many thanks to the Lady Feiyan for her encouragement. I am an artist at AW so of course, I am fascinated with the great artists of Nippon.
