The Thought, The Box, And The Idea
The Thought, having entered into partnership together with the Box for their mutual benefit, came out of the Box to breath. He had not been out long when the Idea came to them.
The Box, seeing imminent danger of losing the Thought, approached the Idea and promised to contrive for him the capture of the Thought if the Idea would pledge his word not to use the Box in a harmful way. So it was decided.
The Box shouted to the Thought: "Dangerous Ideas around!", and the Thought jumped back into the Box, who closed his lid tightly. The Idea demanded to have the Thought, but the Box declined, as he wanted to keep the Thought from unwanted new ideas.
The Idea cringed his teeth, but true to his nature, he soon came up with a new plan. "Box", he asked, "how can you be sure that the Thought is still inside you, when you cannot see him?" The Box got worried, and opened up to make sure, and instantly the Idea grabbed the Thought.
And so the Thought ran away with the Idea.
The Moral of The Story: If you want to keep your thoughts to yourself, don't think outside the Box!
