I liked the movie very much, whether or not it was historically accurate doesn't matter that much to me. When people start looking for historical accuracy in movies they are usually disappointed. Cate Blanchett was magnificent in the role and the costumes and sets were wonderful. I am looking forward the the sequel which will premiere in the US tomorrow, October 12th! I hear that the intention is to make the project a trilogy.
