I've just finished reading "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. A 14-year-old girl is raped and murdered, and then spends time in heaven, watching her family change as they try to cope with what has happened. It seems odd, but its actually a lovely story and quite uplifting. I see from the internet movie database that there's to be a movie of it. I'll be looking forward to that.
