I went mad with hunger at the grocery store today and bought all manner of Roman-oriented produce, herbs (since my herb garden is 1800 miles away), two types of cheese, three types of cooking wine, and a pretty little vermouth. Since I never much enjoy cooking when it's just for me alone, you will all get to be my audience. I'll take pictures ;-)

Wish you could all be my dinner companions as well, alas. I might try inflicting--I mean, treating my Thursday-night fencing group to various recipes.
