How about a tourist book following migration of a barbarian tribe like the vandals. We could include some pics of archaeology sites of place and time periods where they may have come through. Some pics of their home land in germany any archaeological sites we can find. With a descriptions written as a Vandal tourist maybe in the form of a narrative about the migration. Doing it in a tongue in cheek way, like, “that was a nice place to plunder the view was wonderful. Ohh and the food, you really need to sack that city. The people where so nice any thing we asked for they gave us”

Then some of places in Gaul where they pasted trough again with descriptions, including major events (any info we know and pics if available). A synopsis of their kingdom in Iberia followed by the same thing for North Africa and Carthage. We could include links for any thing relevant. This basic idea could be applied the any tribe.
