Originally Belle Histoire was founded at Ancientsites and had a very strong tradition of being a verhicle of alternative history coming from the rather insular city of Machu Pichu . At that time The Americas was just beginning to reach out to the rest of the site and this group was then the only group within the city that was non American in content.

As a result the group provided the city with a major draw card with it ongoing story lines that dealt with the "what if point of view" concerning history. Its members where well researched in all types of history as a result .I think that it would be sad if we lost the opportunity to carry on this tradition here at AncientWorlds . So I would encourage the membership of the group to begin brainstorming new ideas on the appropiate threads here in order to plan new storylines to begin an active revival of the group
