I'm totally agree with you Cearas but when I first read the message in Celtia Caesar seams to be for some people the "god's speaking" it's why I wanted to remeber the first use of his text like you say yourself bello gallico is not an ethnological text but it give us a lot of information. Marcel Mauss should say that bello gallico is a good external source of knowledge.
