    The legal proceedings do stem from the Celtic law basics. The Brehons, or jurists, moved around the country freely, as their status did not rely on any kinship group and were not judges in the modern sense.

    They did not form a 'court' in the Roman sense of the word and the legal proceedings were used only as a last resort. Brehons which were the longest lasting branch of druidical teachings.
